Well it seems like spring is peaking through. I can finally say it’s truly the best and I could not be any happier. It makes me jump for joy when I can wear a lighter jacket, some dresses and soon sandals. I feel it’s been a long winter and having that break in the weather truly makes life so much easier. I am so excited to bring in some florals to the blog in which I know its a change for you guys. You know that this year’s trend is florals, plaid, tie die and snakeskin. I love each and every one of these because I have so many in my closet to actually wear. Plus I wore it in my teenage years, win win. Also, I have so many items sitting in my closet from other seasons that I never got rid off because I knew one day it would come back. Don’t get me wrong I’m not one to follow, I wear what I want but I do occasionally really love some things that are trendy.
Outfit: Dress – pretty little thing, boots – boohoo, coat – vintage, bag – tjmaxx (similar) Not so long ago I attended a fashion dinner with the riviera agency and the Indonesian consulate to show their latest fashion collection before the runway. I chose to wear a sweater dress from prettylittlething with my python boots in which of course are super comfortable. I like to be simple yet very chic when attention any event. Also, like my motto goes don’t break the bank to look your best. You can always find outfits that can be nice and edgy without over doing out. Over the course of fashion week that was so much going that I’ve been preparing all of my writing day by day with its pictures. So bare with me as this outfit is from last month, but don’t I look the same just sexier haha. I always opt for a red lip cause you guys know it’s truly my favorite and it’s so flattering for me. Can’t leave.

One if the things I can ever stop loving is to get glammed and enjoy some fashion shows about all of the upcoming trends and style. I’ve been on since 2013 attending and feel soBlessed that so many designers invite me in which I’m so humbled by. I receive daily question on how to be a part of it and my honesty is, you have to be ready to write and produce content. I’ve been truly focused on making sure that I can beg good pictures and videos of each designer I watch the show and write about them. Specially if they make allKinda of sizes for the world. Also, it’s an amazing time to make friends and just connect with others who are in the industry as well. However, day 2 of #NYFW was truly awesome. The show attended was fashion Hong Kong and 4 other designers in which I will post this week. I got front seat which was nice because I was more closer to seeing the designs up close and personal. I decided to wear a valentines look because it’s the month of love. I couldn’t stop thinking about these awesome boots I bought from Via Spiga as well my stocking that I wanted to wear badly.
I find that wearing vibrant colors in the fall is a good thing. The reason is because it’s already enough with the days being very dark. Also a little color does not kill no one. I Always say that bright clothing can be so much more fun to anyone’s closet when some colored clothing is present. Just because it’s fall it does not mean you have be in black, blue or navy. I for one feel so much better when I can wear light clothing to any event or outing. Plus I was never a fan of being all dark because it just makes me moody and kind of sad. However, I attended a bloggers events called bloggers giveback where gently used clothing was needed to give others. Many bloggers Attended as well as some reAlity tv guest were there speaking about influence, Instagram following and how to just remain authentic, relevant and Being you. I was really loving the whole conversation when Chrissy who appeared in the show love and hip hop, “she said” you can be in any show but remaining true to yourself is number one. Also, the model @khrustyana who was in the show for Tyra banks said don’t pay Mind to those who want you to be someone else, always be you. I love all these advices cause in reality it will take you places. Just be you and mind what others think of you. Continue Reading
One of the things I love is when I can have a dress that fluctuates my curves. Also, prints that are truly nice and settled in ways that can show true style. I gotta give it to Girl with Curves for this awesome capsule collection because it has truly been one of the best ever; its true to the size. I wore this dress last week for a fashion event that I attended in manhattan in which was all eyes on me. If you guys know Tanesha Awasthi from girlwithcurves.com, you’ll know her beautiful sense of style. She is super nice and I’ve been following her for a long time. I am truly so happy for her collection dropping at Lane Bryant and off course I support all the bloggers like myself doing there thing. Continue Reading
Lately it has been a worldwind of things. Don’t know if it’s the weather, a season change or just something really good coming my way. All I know is I am a strong believer in mercury retrograde and it had me in crazy emotions. I’m starting to feel better though and things are getting fixed. But no matter what I am a conquerer and a believer that good things come to those who hustle, stay true to themselves and good style! Continue Reading
