Fashion week has been in full affect guys and I couldn’t be any happier. Being that this is one of my favorite and it’s my 4th year attending I feel so blessed for all the shows, events, invites to little get together to meet and network with other bloggers. I love when I meet new bloggers so I can connect and have fun. I literally took the time to enjoy people’s company and get to know about them. The difference is before I used to just attend many shows and off course write about the runways style. but this I needed to just change it up a bit and connect more with the ladies and have fun learning about little brands that also are super amazing. However my first day of NYFW was amazing, I ran to at least 5 different shows across town and I loved it due to the fact that it was different designers upcoming with beautiful designs. I love when designers can vary by including styles that can be worn either to work or on a regular basis. Colovos definitely has that appeal and more when the models were walking on the runway. I am actually loving how minimalist the designs are. I love maxi dresses as well as suits and rompers in which colovos has. I love every piece honestly, so versatile. Additionally this runway show was designed by longtime husband and wife collaborators Michael and Nicole Colovos. I am head over heels with some of there styles. This was one of my last shows in which I attended. I was happy to attend because every season I like meeting different designers. Also, they have a store here in manhattan on madison avenue in which is great when needing a garment from there runway show. Look below and enjoy there collection as much as I did.
September is in full force with the hot days. I honestly wish it was colder again so we can enjoy the cooler fall days. Also, here is one last look of my lasts show from #NYFW. Its always so much but hectic in ways you would not imagine. There is so much preparation that goes in these shows in which you guys could not imagine. Additionally, you need bomb looks and shoes to make sure you play your part. I rather be very well dressed than under because you never know who you gonna meet that day. At the same time I go with my feeling of what I want to wear rather than anything else. I sometimes buy things and store them in my closet for when fashion week comes becomes its so much either.
This time around I had a Fashion Show called Phillip Plein and it was at the Manhattan Hammerstein Ballroom Ft Future. I was so hype, I never been there so I did not know who was going to be there. I decided to read about him and his line as well as the celebrities who wear his clothes. I’m honestly in aw with his work. He create amazing styles for everyone. I was literally the happiest ever and I was honored to attend his fashion runway show. I met lots of bloggers in the line. There were more people I saw from the balcony than just future, in presence was Nikki Minaj, Tayantaylor and many others. At the end we were all invited to the after party and that right there spoke volumes. I love Phillip Pleins Designs and his passion for fashion. Also, lets not leave behind his gorgeous wife oh my! I had a ball and one day maybe just maybe i will get to work and meet him in person. This fashion week i was truly thankful because of all the people I’ve worked with besides shows. I’ve worked harder with my blog, I have focused on meeting more gals like me, producing more content than ever and last but not least invest in this little business that I love so much. Instagram is growing day by day so my biggest goal is to keep going and inspiring the ladies to dress accordingly and under a budget but never forgetting where they came from.
My dress is from Christian Siriano Resort Spring 2017. The color is turquoise and it was worth it for the night. The sandals are Miu Miu in which I bought in century21 on a sale of 65% or more and the Clutch From a flea market. it was simple yet elegant.
Hands down take some time to go and see Phillips Pleins website. I find his style to be very vibrant, sporty and elegant for whatever day or occasion. I am so happy to be part his show this time around. Hopefully next year I can try and fly to his shows in other countries. I am thankful with all the agencies I worked with this season that were able to accommodate me to shows, events and blogger meet ups.

Hope everyone is doing well. I am ok and kind of sad with all that’s happening around our world at the moment. I’m Praying that things change of some sort for all of those affected in Mexico and Puerto Rico as well other places, sending you my prayers. However, here is a recap of one of my looks from fashion week Day 4 in which I’ve been obsessed with. For one I never knew that a vintage dress can be so lovely and stylish with its colors and the fact that I found it at a bargain makes me even more excited. Theres this flea market in the Meat Packing district that I love on 39th street and sometimes really good vendors are there. Often I buy to save for my fashion week shows and this dress I’ve had it for 3 years and only spent $20 Dollars. Yes ladies you read that right, only $20 and i honestly think the young lady that was selling the items did not know the value of it. I asked where she got the dress and she said from an estate sale from another country. But me off course never really cared where it came from but the beauty of the dress. Its attracting with the color it has and you all know I love me some pink in which I’m so crazy for. I paired it with green sandals and this vintage clutch I bought in another vintage shop in long Island. I’m really into older styles and accessories because like I’ve said many times, to me it has more meaning than the body hugging dresses and styles of the millennium. With this look I attended the Colovo’s Fashion Show at the Clarkson in which was really amazing. Tell me whats your favorite newer styles or vintage? Do you have a favorite place here in NYC? Please let mw know I need to find some other newer places to get vintage pieces. As always lovers, keep happy, stay positive and never give up on your dreams and most important your wardrobe.
Fashion week this year was a blast. Not only was it nice out but I was able to meet some friends from out of state. Also, I was pretty excited to attend the Desigual Runway Fashion show. It was everything and more. The music, the clothes and the models was definitely up beat and I would love to attend there shows any time. Additionally, I love there clothes vibrant, versatile and young. I love every single print and there jackets is to die for. I was able to get a shirt from there store in which i will always cherish due to the style and design. I need to get more items for fall as they have nice pieces. If you ladies get a chance go visit them, they have a huge variety.
However, Desigual was my first show and I wore the shirt with a leather skirt and burgundy sandals. Since it was more colorful I opted for a clutch that has multiple colors. Its the Rubiks cube from Dash Posh Boutique. Keep in mind my outfit was on a budget. No need to spend on an outfit . Remember is all about your look and style. keep it the way you like it. it was an honor and I’m hoping to work with them in the future! Thank you desigual for this amazing shirt!!!
